Jerrod,
well, something's odd! I did some further testing in my test set with a fictitious family.
I got the following results:
1. Woman has 2 children, is not married to either of their fathers, father of child 1 = known, father of child 2 = not known.
Result:
Fathers are not shown but both children are listed under their mother's tree in Project Explorer (PE).
2. Same woman then gets married and has one more child:
Result in PE:
- spouse is shown, but not the other 2 fathers
- child 1 (unmarried _known_ father linked) is _not_ shown
- child 2 (unmarried _not_known father) _is_ shown,
- child 3 (married known father) is shown.
This means:
a) In PE, unmarried partners are not shown at any time, only spouses.
b) If mother did not marry any of the fathers, all children are listed under her tree in PE,
c) If mother does get married, only child 2 (with _unknown_ father) is listed as well as child 3 (resulting from the marriage), but *not* child 1 she had with a _known_ partner she never married.
Somehow child 1 gets lost if mum gets married. :-(
Is this some kind of buglet?
Hope this is clear as mud?
