I think this is a *change* in behavior, and people disagree if it is a bug
or a feature. What is happening is that the relationship tags have 1 surety
value for 2 principles.

In TMG since the number is entered in column 1 the surety value shows in
column 1 in both screens

In FTST, since it relates to P1 in parent screen and P2 in child screen the
value moves based on the screen.

Sometimes I wish I could enter two values, if I know John Smith was the
father of a Jane Smith, but I have several possible Janes, then I which I
could give the parent side a high surety and the child side a lower surety
(of vice versa for the reversed situation). If we had this then there would
be no complaints as the tag would have 2 numbers in both views

Ken
Thank you for responding. GREAT to have a reply.

Do me a favor and look at that tag again... and at TMG. The surety is 3xxxx
period. TMG does not change the surety placement for Son or Dau tags. I
think it is a BUG. If I enter surety of 3xxxx, I expect it to stay that way
and to be reflected as such on ALL screens. TMG does not change value
placement OR if it does, I'm not aware of when . If this is normal, then
FSTS is changing the method by which we have entered sureties in the past.

I'm so pleased someone else is also looking at this even if we don't agree.
