Bill,

The only thought I've got is that you may have to be logged in as an
administrator to install in XP.

I am having trouble installing FTST. I have 26 g's of free space on C,
so this is not the problem. I close out all running programs using
enditall 2 but still get message that installashield has been interupted
and will close. This occurs about 50% thru installation. Tech support
told me to install in safe mode. I tried this but got message cannot
access windows installer in safe mode. Tech support also said that I am
first to report this type problem. I am running WindowsXP Pro. Any
suggestions out there would be appreciated and many thanks.
