I find that changing the Details window's horizontal dimension has no
effect. But dragging the bottom margin up -- reducing the height of
the window, IOW -- does reduce the magnification. If I drag the
window bottom up until the window occupies just half the height of my
17-inch monitor, then the magnification ratio is comparable to the
adjacent windows. I don't like having to resize the window each time
I switch to another view.

:I agree the view is unattractive when magnified. There are so
:many options in FTST to display the same data as Family that I
:rarely use the Family & Tree views anymore.
