FTST is completely separate from TMG4. Since you cannot modify your data
in FTST, it will have no effect on your ability to share data with another
user of TMG4 You do have to both use the same version of TMG in order to
share date. I recommend upgrading to 4.0d, as far as I know there is no
downside.
Data from TMG 5, (after it is released) will not be able to be read by any
earlier version.
