Am having trouble making connections back to Germany. Can anyone help?
Am researching the name SOMMERSTORFER. What does it mean? My
grandfather's name and he came from a village in Bavaria near
Innsbruck where my grandmother grew up. We have little information
except from an old insurance form. It looks like the village name
began with an Fr. Also researching HOLTZWIMMER (Austria), WURST
(Kaiserslautern area) and ENGEMANN. The ENGEMANN line came over in
1876 from family records say Ossendorf, but I can find no town of that
