Hello Rene,

Lengerich southwest of Osnabr"uck was then in the Grafschaft
Tecklenburg. The LDS films for that area go back to the 1600's so you
should be able to find your ancestors in the parish records. Wilhelm
Hilgediek, who often answers postings for that area on this newsgroup,
lives in Lengerich.
