I don't know how old your message is; I just happened to see it and am
not usually at aol. I'm at Compuserve.
If you have made no progress I would take a map of Germany and follow the
Rhine (Rhein), beginning at Cologne (Koeln), going south. I'm pretty sure
Bingen is not 'down' the river from Cologne.
I also believe your spelling is not correct. It most likely is Bingen;
you will probably find it and can go from there.
I'm in the Us (PA) but do have some knowledge about Germany, having been
born there years ago.
