I am looking for information about early life and German background of
Georg SCHEUERMANN (anglicized to SHIREMAN) who, according to an 1880
Indiana census was reported by his grandson to be born in PA
(1750's-1760's?). He emigrated to NC and owned land in Rowan Co. by 1778.
Married Barbara ZINCK(H)/ZINK, daughter of Johann Jacob and Derrodea
ZINCK(H) from Wurtemburg, in 1754. Georg died in Salisbury, Rowan Co. NC
in 1797 and was buried by Pastor Storch at Peint Church (German Lutheran).
His son Michael Shireman emigrated to Monroe Co. Indiana from Lincolnton,
Lincoln Co., NC with his wife and 12 children in 1835.

Any information on this line would be greatly appreciated.
