Translated:
Alexis Landry, acadian and contemporary of the pionneer of Caraquet,
took refuge during the Deportation at Kamousraska, Qc.
He had married Marguerite Aucoin and his grand-son Pascal
married at La Pointe-Sapin in 1824, Madeleine Leclerc.
The following year he immigrated with his wonderful family
in the north-eastern part of New-Brunswick now called
la Peninsule Acadienne. He lived first in Upper-Shippagan
the he moved to Pokemouche were he died.
Alexis Landry, Boat builder, trader and merchant. son of Jean
and Clara Leblanc, born Grand-Pre 25 aug 1721 d. 06 mar 1798,
m (1)1717 Grand-Pre, Claire LeBlanc, daughter of notary Rene LeBlanc:
m.(2) C1744 Marie Theriault, widow of Jean-Baptiste Cormier
(son of Alexis of Beaubassin), daughter of Jean T. & Madeleine
