Hi Fille du Roi where girls that the King sent over to increase the
population.I was told that they where from poor families or prostituts and
sometimes orphanes they hade a contract with the king to get maried when
they arrived here.The men that where allready here to get land they hade to
get maried so they to hade a contract.That is why if there wife died they
remaried within a couple of months so they would not loos the lands or
concession it was a cold life no fealing.
