Domesday Book: Suffolk
How far back can you go? The Domesday Book is the earliest
surviving list of manorial Lords. The most convenient way to consult it
is to purchase the modern Phillimore translation, published in 38
volumes.
The Suffolk return, in two substantial volumes, is priced at £30.80
(including UK postage). Overseas (airmail) £37.50; $US62.00. Please
inquire for surface & Australian dollar prices. Many other counties also
available; visit my web site for
details . Email orders welcome. Books will be sent with an invoice for
payment on
receipt, by personal cheque, in sterling, $US or $Aus.
