Westminster Presbyterian Church. History from 1799. Photos. 100s of names.
Color photo of the glorious Stoddard Window, considered Mr. Tiffany's
masterpiece. It is priceless. The church started as a log house threatened by
Indians. Leader William Robinson, member of the Transylvania Presbytery
believed to have come to the Dayton settlement as early as 1798 with
Presbytery authority to organize a church. An 1888 history of Dayton
states:The First Presbyterian Church under the care of Washington Presbytery,
Synod of Kentucky, was organized in 1799." 113 pages + 13 pages forms for
