The extremely popular Early Vital Records of the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts to about 1850 CD-ROM series is now available in one convenient
multi-CD-ROM pack -- at a savings of over $150! The nine CD set includes
not only 300 volumes of the "Official Series" vital records books -- over
275 towns in all fourteen counties -- but also a multitude of additional
vital records and cemetery records never before published. The CDs include
over 116,000 images of original pages and allow you to simultaneously search
all towns in each county. Names, dates and places are listed for births,
marriages, deaths and burials. The Search and ReSearch Folio VIEWSTM
software allows many user options such as highlighters, bookmarks and
"sticky notes."

System Requirements: IBM / Compatible 386 or better minimum; mouse; 4Mb
RAM; 3Mb available hard drive space, VGA monitor or better. Windows 3.1x,
Windows 95, 98 or NT or Macintosh System 7.0 or later.

Important Note: Although CD-MH1 (Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden and Hampshire
Counties) has been delayed in production, the multi-pack is currently

This is CDs is Type II CD meaning searchable indexes linked to images
(only) of the original published pages.
As a consequence of this, the following features are affected:
Cut and Paste, Cut and Copy, Save As, Highlighters: These features apply
only to the index portion of the CD-ROM. Since the page images do not exist
as text, they cannot be manipulated as such.
Printing: You may print individual image of pages (but not portions) to a
dot-matrix or laser printer.
