This book covers descendants of George & Sarah Billups, early emigrants to Gloucester Co., VA in 1653. Coverage is also provided the first three generations of descendants of Peter Ransome, of Elizabeth City Co., VA by 1652 Five generations of descendants of Charles & Richard Richardson, of VA & Clarendon Co., SC. There are six generations of Cantey descendants given from Tiege Cantey, whoe oldest son, George settled on the Ashley River in SC by 1672. William Humphrey was born in Ireland in 1740 & coverage is given he and his daughter. Marmaduke Kimbrough was born in New Kent Co., VA ca. 1701 and the book covers his descendants for seven generations. Francis Young, b. ca. 1650 has descendants covered from Michael, his son Francis, of Isle of Wight Co., down through eight generations. Descendants of Capt. John McNeill & Levicy Moultrie, of Chesterfield, SC go down for four generations. The descendants of John Calhoun McKenzie, of Anson Co., NC & Carroll Co., MS have five gen!
