Sadly, I think this lineage cannot be relied upon. Simply because Lucy Walter
could not be relied upon. That her son, the Duke of MOnmouth, was by Charles II
has been question, but her daughter is definitely not by Charles II.
H.Noel Williams, in 1915, published a book about Nell Gwyn, Louise de Kerouaille
and Hortense Mancini. On page 7 "For no sooner was the prince (Charles II)
safely out of the way, than she began to look about her for consolation and
found it in the person of Colonel Henry Bennet (afterwards Earl of Arlington),
whom in due course she presented with a daughter." Then there is a footnote:
This daughter, Mary by name, married William Sarsfield, a brother of Patrick,
Earl of Lucan, and, after his death in 1675, William Fanshaw, Master of the
Requests to Charles.

Gerald Paget's in his monumental work records her with the remark "but not
acknowledged". Apparently, Henry Fitzroy, 1st Duke of Grafton, who was
acknowledged, his paternity was questioned by some. But why argue with
Charles II who acknowledged him. Paget also records Barbara Fitzroy,
but her father apparently was John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough.
