Sir William's daughter, Elizabeth, married Sir Henry Tuchet. Elizabeth was
buried at Grappenhall in Chester on January 4, 1610 (n.s.). It is
sometimes said that his wife was Anne Barrowe, but she was, in fact, the
wife of a quite different William Sneyd and lived much earlier in the
sixteenth century. The William Sneyd in <Burke's Landed Gentry>, who
married Ann(e) Barrow(e), is quite a different person. No dates exist for
Jane and her father.
