Shawn,
Having followed this thread with, at first amusement, and later with
impatience, I have noticed that Todd has repeatedly provided his
reasoning for his opinion, but you have done nothing other than say
"You're wrong, admit your mistake". Now I feel that I must intervene.
Todd has repeatedly asked that you explain why you consider his
reasoning is not correct. This you have continuously avoided doing. It
almost seems that you have a personal animosity to Todd, rather than a
true belief in the falsity of his reasoning.
Now, in order that I may understand better your position, I make the
same request. What part of the explanation that Todd has provided do
you consider incorrect? Is it that "it spans a period of a thousand or
more years with no attempt to document the descent, nor for that matter
are there known surviving documents which would address the intervening
period"? Is it "these descents are in each case of greater importance
to the people reporting them at the later time of it being 'recorded'
than in the intervening period"? Or is it "as at least the others
provide a list of names through which the descent runs, while the
Aksumite claim simply contains a 1200 year gap in the pedigree."?
I would appreciate it if you would have the politeness and maturity to
respond to the questions posed rather than a repeat of the insulting
manner you have used throughout this thread.
