Thanks for bringing forward this surname. For myself, I'd be
grateful for any information re: Simon Dethick, said to be of North
Elmham, Norf, and fa. with Rose Crowe of Christian Dethick who m. Sir
Thomas Pettus, Sheriff of Norfolk (Mayor of Norwich in 1591), &/or of
'Jone' Dethick, said to be mo. of John Pettus (fa. of Sir Thomas
Pettus above).
