John Kennedy was born in Beith, Ayrshire, Scotland and travelled to
Australia for the goldrush. He went from there to NZ before 1869.
In Hokitika, Dec 1869 he married Matilda Mellin who was born at Singleton,
NSW in March 1845.

I am trying to find the ship/s they came to NZ on. I've been searching the
web for about 12 months & haven't been able to find anything. I have been
unable to determine when John arrived in Australia but it was perhaps
1865-1868.

Is there anyone who might be able to point me in a positive direction, or
might have old family records with the info I am seeking.
