Subject: [DNA] DNA participants' ancestry
Date: Sun, 4 Aug 2002 19:48:35 EDT
The Walker DNA home page by Barbara Walker Good, hyperlink below, shows an
outstanding way of presenting the lineage of DNA testees back to certain
ancestries, while at the same time protecting the identities of living
persons.
Congratulations, Barbara, and thanks to you for the idea. If there are other
DNA websites with other ways of presenting lineage without betraying
identities of those still living, I would like to be referred to them, also.
Meantime, I am sending this email as a blind copy to some of our Wingfield
DNA participants, and asking them to email me their views as to whether the
Walker example shown would be acceptable to them for their Wingfield DNA test
results back to a focus ancestor.
