Hi, everyone!
My Y-chromosome results indicate 4 steps from Haplogroups 1 & 2, and 3
steps from Haplogroup 3 (based on the values for these groups listed in
previous posts on this list) - my DYS values fall roughly midway between
Hg 2 & 3 - since my ancestry is Northern British, does this really
indicate "Viking" ancestry?

My question is this: is 3 steps too far away from a Haplogroup to be
considered as falling under that group?

Or is my question not an appropriate one at all? (If so, please forgive
my ignorance).
