Your statement is misleading. By putting RG in parentheses, you are implying
that Ancestry and RG are equivalent. You never submitted samples to RG. You
cannot comment on their service from personal experience.
RG and Ancestry are two different entities. Ancestry is a business
organization which subcontracted with RG. It should be compared with FTDNA,
which subcontracts with the U of Ariz lab. Both are business organizations.
(The actual legal business relationships may be more complex for both.)
The main difference is that RG-direct customers get to deal directly with
technical people at the lab. We don't have to have questions filtered through
a business organization. We get same-day responses from RG. It may not be
immediate, but our contact is directly involved in the testing and analysis.
It depends on what type of of setup you like. However, to imply that you have
worked with RG is misleading to people on the list.
