Hi! I noticed that O'Toole is a name in the subject title....as a study?
I have an O'Toole in my ancestry tree.....
Moringen Muirchertaig O'Toole ...... mother-in-law to Richard De Clare....
and was wondering if you have any info at all on her and her family. I only
have her father, Murcertac O'Toole and his father, Gillacomghall O'Toole
with not much of anything else at all. Any help/info you can give or know of
someone else that I can ask info from, will be very much appreciated.
Warm Regards from Maine,

Subject: [DNA] Ua Tuathail - O'Toole - Tothill - Tuttle
Noting the seeming similarity to an English speaker of the spelling of
the names on the subject line, and recalling an article in either The
American Genealogist or the NEHGS Register on the origin of the New Haven
and Boston Tuttle families in Ireland, I wonder if anyone has started Y
DNA studies on these families and compared results between the O'Tooles
and the Tuttles? Or is this truly not a real similarity in names?
Any info from Patrick Guinness on this?
