Firstly Jean, your premise is not correct. There are significant non-Jewish
y chromosome profiles in Jewish populations.
The article says that the Y-chromosome paternal gene pool of Ethiopian Jews
more closely resembles that of non-Jewish Ethiopian men.

In times past women were kept closed in their community and did not mix with
outsiders therefore rape was not occur with the frequency that we see today.
The article says that Jews remained generally culturally isolated from their
host communities.
