I never tell the participant who the donor is - I tell them it is
anonymous in both directins - and often even my co-administrator doesn't
even know. Now he does know about the outstanding offer for specific
DNA - of course - but whose are paid for by our donor is between me and
them.

It's beginning to look like those of us with slow family participation
in DNA tests should look to the college-age men. They're still used to
relying on other people to help them financially. So maybe plain
old-fashioned pride is keeping older men from participating. That's
something to think about.
