Ken ...

Hmmmm, actually no - I just "simplified" by saying the results for the list:
P30, P40, M71,M72 were all "positive for I1a1". Yes, it's true that M21 &
M72 indicate I1a2 & I1a3, when detected. I was being terse & a bit loose.

So, to be exact & complete: M71-, M72-, P30+, P40+, M253+, M307- meaning:

M71 negative for I1a2
M72 negative for I1a3
P30 positive for I1a
P40 positive for I1a1
M253 positive for I1a1
M307 negative for I1a1 ***** the 2005 YCC ambiguity Ken & I have
mentioned. *****
(new subclade of I1a1?)

It's clear that the 2005 YCC chart is in a state of high flux. We're pursuing
more details in current test data for M307/M253.

(OK, Ken made me do this :-)

Mike; did you mean to say "negative for M21 and M72"? Ken
