I have a group of eleven in Logan DNA Project at FTDNA who are all R1b
and DSY393=12. The other 20 R1b's are all DYS393=13.

The chart I read earlier for Rb1 said that a DYS393=12 was 2% why, is
this rare, and how do I find out te surname groups that had this result?
Or can I?

Mutations happen. The rest of the very short haplotype you have shown
us looks like R1b including DYS464 which is just one off the modal
15,15,17,17.

The first test results are in for our surname project. Testing was
done by
FTDNA, they are stating the results indicate R1b, however I am wondering
about DYS393=12. Other modals appear to be very close to the Atlantic
Modal.

DYS19 = 14

DYS388 = 12

DYS390 = 24

DYS391 = 11

DYS392 = 13

DYS464 = 15,16,17,17

Thoughts, anyone?
