Heck, Dora, there is no consensus as to who the Proto-Indo-Europeans were,
and you say they "often ruled as foreign elites"?

The original Indo-Europeans were a prehistoric, pre-literate people. That
means we have no documentary evidence of them, only relatively scanty
archaeological clues and various speculative guesses, some more wild and
exotic than others. The wild and exotic guesses feed on "dna evidence" like
a California wildfire on dry chaparral.

Everybody's a "kurgan," and nobody is.
