I agree that unusual marker values in a Ysearch entry should not be trusted
too far. But in the examples I gave, the rare values actually appear on the
web sites of the R1a and Polish Projects, and hence are direct
transcriptions from FTDNA's database.

However, as John Chandler emphasizes, rare values can also be the result of
a clerical error at the lab itself.
