Ken shared with me the data from the Brabant study. After running some comparisons, MDPCK seems to belong among the J2a2* individuals tested. See below:

DYS 393 390 19/394 391 385a 385b 439 389-1 392 389-2
ID273 12 23 14 10 13 16 11 13 11 29
MDPCK 12 23 14 10 13 16 11 13 11 30
ID447 12 23 14 11 13 16 10 14 11 30
ID174 12 23 14 10 12 12 11 14 11 31
ID249 12 23 15 10 13 16 11 14 11 30

Would you say this is evidence to suggest a Belgian origin for MDPCK?

Please let me know if you have any feedback. I would also appreciate some more information about J2a2*. What is known about this haplogroup?

Thanks,
Aaron Torres
