For those having problems eliminating the date and hyphens on their
spreadsheets,one solution is to download OpenOffice at
http://www.openoffice.org. Open the .csv file with their spreadsheet and a
delimiter box will open. Add "other -". (The text recognition character
should be the default ".) If you used a hyphen in any of your text, this
procedure will split the two parts, so it is a good idea to change it on the
FTDNA site. The headings will be misaligned. However, once you get them set
up, you can save a copy to paste on any new sheet.
