Subject: [DNA] Supplement SD Years
Date: Sat, 7 Apr 2012 21:51:50 -0400
In the supplement, there is a wonderful table, S5. In the table it shows
the haplogroup age estimates in two columns. The first is evident, time
estimate in years. The second is SD (years) which Bill Hurst tells me means
Standard Deviation.
Could someone please explain what this means, how it is calculated and how
it is useful?
Thanks,
Roberta Estes
