Just to let those with an interest in matters genealogical for County Louth
that I have added an additional 4,200 names to my County Louth Genealogical
Sources site http://www.jbhall.freeservers.com (there are now 56,500 names
on the site). This is a modern list, a
'Name Index to Newspaper Death Notices 1930-40'
and is the first part of a project to index these notices from 1890-1940. I
would hope to have the next batch of names 1890-1900 online later in the
year. I have transcribed the name in the newspaper notice, address and date
of death.
I have also added a 'Statistical Survey for Faughart Parish 1816' to the
site and a few pictures: Kilsaran Catholic Church, Ballymascanlon Village
and Omeath Village.

Happy hunting,
