A Chairde,

Chief Herald of Ireland - the sixtieth anniversary of the creation on this
office falls on Tuesday April 1st 2003.

The transfer of the Office of Arms in Dublin Castle from British to Irish

transferred in 1922 on the coming into force of the Treaty and the creation
of the Irish Free State.
