Hi everyone:
Here is a short summary of the convention:
It was a small but active group, I think about 310 of us. It was in a very
nice setting with the Embassy Suites.
Good presentations by a variety of people. Erica Neumann of Brazil did a fine
job with her presentation about how they survived their trip from Harban
China to South America. Will Wutzke did his usual fine job with his
presentation about how music helped his family survive the 2nd World War.
I made a pitch to the Chapter Presidents meeting on how our chapter raised
the money and installed a historical marker in St. Joseph, Michigan. It was
dedicated on June 17th to honor our fore fathers for coming to this country.
We had a nice Saturday banquet and super hosts from the new Wild Rose Chapter
of Iowa.
The next Convention will start on June 17, 2003 in Yakima, WA.
That's it in a nut shell.

Cheeeeers
Paul Koehler
