HYDE.- In Affectionate Remembrance of Frederick Clifford HYDE, Sapper R.E. Signals, beloved son of Stephen and Annie HYDE, 15, Brackla-street, Bridgend, who died at 59th Casualty Clearing Station, France, June 29th, 1916 aged 30 years.

THOMAS.- In Ever-loving Remembrance of Haydn, beloved eldest son of Mrs THOMAS and the late Mr. D.W. THOMAS, Pleasant View, Trelaw, who was killed in action June 29th, 1916.- Lovingly remembered by Mother, Brother, and Sisters.


ALDER.- On 27th, June, at Hargrave, Augusta-road, Penarth, to Mr and Mrs Stanley ALDER,  a son.

LEWIS.- June 28th, at Nythfa, Cloedien-avenue, Cardiff, to Lillian nee (STANIFORTH), wife of Tom LEWIS, a daughter.

SIMMONS.- June 25th, to Mr. and Mrs Stanley SIMMONS, 76, Grove-road, Bridgend, the gift of a daughter.


COOKE-JAMES- June 28th, at St. Catherine's Church, Neath, by the Rev. R.E. STOCKDALE, M.A., Henry Aitken, only son of Mr.and Mrs T. COOKE, Court-Sart-terrace, Briton Ferry, to Gladys Louise, elder daughter of the George JAMES, Jersey Estate, Briton Ferry.

DOWLING-JOHN.- On the 28th June, at St. James' by the Rev. W. Percival JONES, Sydney Charles, second son of Mr. and Mrs John DOWLING, 106, Marion-street, to Sally, youngest daughter of the late Mr. John JOHN and Mrs. JOHN, 79, Bedford-street, Cardiff.

STOCKWELL-ADAMS.- June 28th, at St. Saviour's Roath, by the Rev. D. MACKINTOSH, Alfred Clifford, second son of Mr. and Mrs. W.E. STOCKWELL, 7, Regina-terrace, Cardiff, to Gladys Eva, second daughter of Mr and Mrs. F. ADAMS, 150, Portmanmoor-road, Cardiff.


BARKER.- At 6, Ludlow-street, Caerphilly, Richard, Retired Schoolmaster, aged 82. Interred at St. Martin's Church, Caerphilly, on Saturday.

FOSTER.- June 27th, Gaynor Wynne, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs R.W. FOSTER, 20, Woodland-place, Penarth.

HUWS.- Saturday, June 28th, at Glanamman, Anne, relict of the late Rev. Rhys J. HUWS. Funeral on Wednesday at Aberhossan, Machynlleth; strictly private.

KENT.- June 28th, Jennie, wife of Edwin KENT, Ingleside, Mountain Ash.
Funeral on Thursday next, at Four p.m. G. O.

POPHAM.- Joseph, husband of Mrs Emma POPHAM, age 68 years, of 24, Brython-road, Cymmer, Port Talbot, passed away June 26th. Funeral leaving the house at Two o'clock for burial at Cadoxton-Neath 3.30.

REED.- Leonard Johnson, on June 27th, at 30, Arran-street, son of the late Johson and Margaret REED, and beloved nephew of M.A. ROWLANDS. Funeral leaving residence Thursday, Twelve o'clock.  G. O.

WATTS.- June 27,at Llanmihangel Place, Cowbridge, Thomas WATTS, aged 64. Funeral Tuesday, at Zoar, Bonvilston (Gentlemen only), leaving house at Three o'clock by motor, via Llantrithyd.


DAVIES.- Mr and Mrs. D.J. DAVIES, 52, Ninian-road, Cardiff, desire to thank all friends for their kind messages of sympathy, telegrams, letters, and the beautiful floral tributes.


HARRIES.- In Loving Memory of Maude, wife of A.E. HARRIES, and mother of Willie, Dave, and Owie, who died at Broad Elms, Lougher, 30th, 1920.

JONES.-  In Loving Memory of Margretta and Annie Mary, daughters of Jane and the late David JONES, 15, Arthur-street, Ystrad, who died respectively June 29th 1923, and May 10th, 1921, also David John DAVIES, the infant son of Margretta, who died July 22nd, 1922.- Ever remembered by Mam, Megan, Jennie, and Harry.

THOMAS .- In Loving Memory of my dear husband, John THOMAS, Tavern Bach, Cowbridge, who died June 29th, 1923. Sadly missed by Wife and Niece Evelyn.
