Thankyou sincerely to all those who replied so quickly to my query. I had
guessed that Rawal Pinde was Indian(ish) so thanks to those who pinned it
down for me. My real question (and I obviously framed it badly) was the
apparant confusion in the news report i.e. wounded Rawal Pinde but died in
France - doesn't make a lot of sense. However Iain (as usual) seems to have
given me the breakthrough, if I read his response correctly. Iain please
forgive any stupidity on my part but are you saying that Rawal Pinde in this
context is the name of the hospital (unit) he died in as opposed to place he
was wounded?
Thanks again to all of you who responded: Jim Wishart, Rbrn123 (who's
that?), Ian Grant, James Ellis, Janice Duke and (of course) Iain Kerr.

All the best,
Andrew
