Please accept my apologies for mis-quoting the regiment. I have been
reading too much! I will take more care in reading my e-mails before
hitting the send button.

Thank you for this detail, I only wish that I had more details about my
great-grandfather's service. The training the men received seems awfully
short, but the needs of the time must have made an intensive training period
imperative.
