I have looked at 'Canadian WW1 Aviators" compiled in 1942-1944 by F H
Hutchens for the RCAF, Overseas, Historical Section. There is not mention
of Cram. This would suggest that he was not Aircrew or that he was in
training. since his military record does not indicate why he died I would
suggest that you consult the archival copies of the Ottawa papers of that
time. These archives are held by the Natinal Library in Ottawa. You wrrite
to the the same building that you wrote to when you asked for his record
from the National Archives. There is probably some mention of this in their
obituary section.
Good luck. If I can help, please write
