Ken - the standard military history is Cyril Falls, "Military Operations
Macedonia", which comes in two volumes, vol I being from the outbreak of war to
the spring of 1917, and vol II from there on.
The book that is most commonly recommended as an overview seems to be Alan Palmer,
"The Gardeners of Salonika". I have a copy, and yes, I reccommend it.
