Tom,
Sorry for the delay but had to await a reply from "my friend". Best he
could offer was the link as shown (hope I have typed it okay as its
rather long).
http://www.boat-links.com/linklists/boatlink-28.html#top
This it seems will give you a page full of links to Submarine/U Boat
pages. Now he does not claim you will find any answers but he says that
if you do not find anything directly about UC 63 you should then e mail
the the page owners to ask questions, they (he tells me) are all a
friendly lot, bit like our own WW1 page and someone may be able to
assist.
It will be a long trawl but then half the fun of research I have found
is in the hunting for the truth.
A word about Anoraks, I have another friend ( ye gods life is nothing
but a social whirl), now this chap is an Aircraft Spotter. Any spare
time he is to be found (should one wish to find him) at the local
airport viewing area. He is dressed in a baseball cap (with some
aircraft logo or other on it), a anorak complete with hood and fur trim,
jeans, and a pair of what I believe are called "trainers" what ever they
are. Around his neck are two cameras and he has to hand a notebook and
pencil. Now he is a true ANORAK.
Regards.
Peter.
