Katie,

The site to use is the Commonwealth war Graves Commission "Debt of Honour"
searchable register at http://yard.ccta.gov.uk/cwgc/register.nsf

"Soldiers Died in the Great War" lists 36 men named George Ball, of which
only one has a recorded Middlesex connection:

F/899 Private George William BALL; 17th (Service) Battalion, The Duke of
Cambridge's Own (Middlesex Regiment);
born Kensington, Middlesex, enlisted Shepherd's Bush, Middlesex, resident
North Kensington, Middlesex; Killed in Action on Tuesday, 8th August 1916
in France and Flanders.

The CWGC confirm that he is commemorated at Delville Wood Cemetery,
Longueval, Somme, France.

Yours aye,

Iain Kerr in Windsor, Berkshire, United Kingdom
