We should keep in touch! I'm trying to trace the service of my grandfather
in the East Lancs. I have recently written to the regimental museum,
address Museum of the Queen's Lancashire Regiment, Fulwood Barracks, Preston
PR2 8AA.

They sent me a form to apply for research to be done, however it's not clear
to me what might be found & how long it might take (which influences the
cost).

I'm sure there must be published regimental histories but the museum didn't
send me details. Perhaps someone on the list might know of them.

I should add that you shouldn't consider me in any way an expert. I'm a
rank amateur!
