I still have some more File information that is long overdue to be entered into my TMG files. However, it may be a long process as I also need to do some census work to complete some of the information. What I am speaking of is some information which was sent to me a few years ago by a File descendant. Also, one of the books of File family genealogy which in some cases I am certain that I can add to the data with Cenus information. However, I will endeavor to make my record more complete. I am thanking that Lana or/and Lora both may have a more up to date file than I do on Margaret Reap File's descendants. Well, for that matter, I also still have a lot of information left to enter into the family of Johann Michael Reeb (Reph/Raph). If I can find some free time I will try to help you with both but in the meantime I am happy that we now have descendant of all three brothers, Peter, Gustavus & Michael Reeb in a forum where we can discuss genealogy.

Also, Harlan, as you know your ancestral history concerning the orphans of David Reeb aka Reb and aka Rape is also an interesting story in it's own right. As your ancestor Henry Harison, who was baptized with the spelling of REB eventually became Henry Raph you may be interesed to know that David had a first cousin, Paul who also ended life with the spelling of his name as RAPH. Paul was a son, we believe, of Jacob Reeb the brother of Henry Reeb (David's father). Paul moved his family to Illinois and then to Iowa. I have a photo of one of Paul's sons. Also I have a collection of documents including deeds etc. pertaining to Paul. I have only heard direct from one of his descendants, however, I have heard from a few descendants of his brother Samuel's descendants, one of whom was very helpful to me on Paul also. She is a descendant of Susan REB Marsh. Susan was a daughter of Jacob, son of Michael Reeb.
