My name is Aileen Greer Norris, I live in Rock Hill, York County, SC; not
far from the Union County area where my Rape leads. My lineage follows John
V. Reeb's in that our direct ancestors were brothers Archibald and John
Rape.

Henry R. Rape (my great grandfather)
John Rape (my great great grandfather)
Johann Peter (Reeb) Rape (my 3rd great grandfather)

It was not until I met John V. Reeb that I was able to get beyond Henry R.
Rape. I knew he was from the Monroe, Union County area of North Carolina but
that was as far as I could get. My mother was the youngest child for her
mother who was the youngest child of Henry R. Rape; he died when she was
eight year of age; the family just did not know anything about him. But John
V. Reeb had the whole family line but did not have Henry R. Rape's
descendants. He had found my great grandfather in the courthouse records of
the orphans court in Lancaster County, SC. Right here in my back yard! I
will forever be grateful to John for all his help and encouragement.
