Without doubt sir, such a quote could only have been spawned in England, by
an Englishman. In the civilized world, the birthright of an English
gentleman (small "g") is readily identified through his appearance and
disposition, that is to say, a short, ugly, fat person with bad teeth,
fetid breath, and a pocked face, somewhat illiterate, who lacks even the
simple common sense and grace to carry on a conversation with those more
knowledgeable than he.
Generally, the appearance of such a person is usually followed by his tea
and crumpits butt being smeared over the English countryside without formal
ceremony.
