Dear Members,

I know a Polish American family by the name of Speidel, who hail form the
Poznan area in Poland. Recently I noted that they have started using "von
Speidel" as their moniker. I wonder whether a noble family "von Speidel,"
or, for that matter, any family using this name ever existed. Niesiecki
does not list them. Perhaps someone has access to German sources?
