In the hamlet of my ancestor's birth, Rybowo Poland (near Grylewo Poland and close to Poznan), rests today, a shambles of an "estate" which the local populace refer to as "The Palace". I am fortunate in that a Polish Gentleman was good enough to travel to Rybowo from his home in a nearby city to photograph the area for me. One or two of the photo's contain images of "The Palace".

Interaction on this list has made me realize that this "estate" was undoubtedly the "Manor" from which my ancestors were bound under the terms of vassalage. As such, there remains little doubt that I should be able to identify the surname of the Noble who owned the estate and land by examining again, the Church records of the times, previous to 1850.

Concurrent with this research, I would also like to research the appropriate civil record's which would also confirm ownership and possibly provide additional information.

Question: Could someone provide the postal address in Poland where I could write for assistance in this matter ?? It would be a Godsend if I could query in the English language.

Post Script - As an extra class ham radio operator (WL7EP), I have had hundreds of contacts with Polish ham radio operators through the years. I simply wrote (in ENGLISH, since English is considered the international language of ham radio operators) the Polish ham radio operator that lived closest to Rybowo and he drove there and took photo's for me. My cost was $35.00 US, sent by international money order.
