To the list- the reason that many of us do not know what crest our ancestors
used is that the folks who came to the USA were most often working hard to
make a living--They were not thinking of the past-only the futureMy Grandmother
told me that her Grandfather's crest was "feathers with eyes" and a"face with
empty eyes". She knew his name was Podgorski-I have seen it spelled
Podgorskii-Podgurski-Podhorski--on various papers and by the same family--and quite
